As a school we use a PE educationist specialist to help deliver our school PE.  The main driver of this is an online platform which we use to teach the PE lessons to the children.  This is called Jasmine and is usually only available for the teachers to login and use.  However due to the current situation they have allowed us to let parents to login and use the resources.  Your children will be familiar with how it looks and know all about the videos and tasks you can do.  In basic terms it will give you lots of lessons, videos and fun games for the children to play at home.  Lots of them do not need equipment and those which do you can of course be creative and use whatever you have around.  Below is the instructions and guidance Real PE have sent me.  If you follow these instructions you will be able to get going with this today. Real PE at home – online learning resources

Real PE at home includes an online programme which supports families to be active, play and learn together. It includes a programme specifically for children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 with 12 themes, 6 areas, over 250 activities and challenges and 1000s of hours of fun and activity. This programme is also great for family play and fun.

It also includes a programme for children in Key Stage 2, with daily and weekly guidance provided for both programme in addition to an option to choose your own themes and activities.

There are so many benefits to being active, not only to our physical wellbeing but also to our emotional and mental health, especially in such testing times for all of us.
